Sitka Seafood Festival - August 6-7, 2010
Come celebrate wild Alaskan seafood! Be a part of a culinary celebration of the best wild food source on
the planet! We are proud to announce the arrival of the first official Sitka Seafood Festival. Experience
Alaska’s wild and sustainable seafood through entertainment, education and culinary delights. The
festival will take place August 6-7th in Sitka, Alaska. The emphasis will be placed upon food, music
and education this year. Please join us in what could be one of Southeast Alaska’s new and exciting
traditions.
Wine Tasting - August 2 6-8 pm - Bayview
Rick Sayres from Rodney Strong Winery in CA will host a wine tasting with 12 amazing wines, along with wonderful food presented by Chef Josh and the Bayview. Tickets at $25 and available at House of Liquor.
Beer Tasting & Smoked Salmon Contest - July 30
6-8 pm - Westmark Banquet Room
Come enjoy live music and scrumptious treats by Chef Jo and the Westmark, while sampling beers from the following local distributors: Specialty Imports, Odom Corporations, and K&L Distributors.
Pick up your tickets for $30 at Old Harbor Books or at the Door.
The Smoked Salmon Contest is now taking entries! Showcase your favorite recipe for a chance to claim the title of Sitka’s best smoked salmon, and snag one of the 3 first place prizes including:
Judges’ Favorite: $100 gift card to Murray Pacific
Crowd Favorite: $100 gift card to Petro Marine
Most Original: 2 tickets to the SSF banquet dinner on Aug. 6
To confirm your entry and receive 5 lbs of fresh salmon for smoking, a $10 fee is required, but will be taken off

Sitka Culinary Tour - May 21-22
Come support the Sitka Seafood Festival and indulge in a passport-style dinner. The Sitka Culinary Tour
will allow you to experience small-plate creations from 6 different restaurants showcasing the talent
that will be displayed during the first Sitka Seafood Festival. Get your passports for this amazing event
taking place May 21 & 22, 2010. Tickets are available at Old Harbor Books for $40, which will allow you
